Zahra Rajabinajjar
I am a PhD student in the department of Physics at the University of Tehran. My first obvious step into learning high energy physics occurred during my MSc’s studies while I was working on my thesis, “Design and construction of Resistive Plate Chambers (RPC)”. Now, as a student, my research is in the area of particle phenomenology, particularly hadrons with three heavy quarks, using the QCD sum rule method. It has been less than three years since I have been involved in the weak decay and properties of triply heavy baryons in both their ground and excited states. My research interests include the following areas: the Standard Model of particle phenomenology, the formation and structure of standard hadrons—especially triply heavy ones—as well as weak and strong decays; and the search for Dark Matter and Dark Energy in High Energy Physics (HEP).
