Alireza Olamaei
I hold a PhD in High Energy Particle Physics and currently serve as an Assistant Professor of Physics at Jahrom University. My academic journey began with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Communication. However, my enduring passion for physics, particularly theoretical physics, led me to pivot my focus to particle physics during my MSc and PhD studies.
My research interests encompass a broad spectrum of topics within the field, including Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD) and Hadronic Physics, Modified Gravity, Cosmology, and the application of Machine Learning in Particle Physics.
In addition to my research, I am deeply committed to teaching. Over the years, I have had the privilege of teaching a wide range of undergraduate courses in Physics and electrical engineering such as General Physics, Electromagnetics, Thermodynamics, Classical Mechanics, Quantum Mechanics, Particle Physics, and Mathematical Physics, Electronics, Signals and Systems and … . At the graduate level, I have taught Advanced Quantum Mechanics, Advanced Statistical Mechanics, Electrodynamics, Particle Physics, and Quantum Field Theory.
